The Erasmus Mundus programme is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education, which aims to enhance the quality in European higher education and to promote cultural exchange and good understanding through cooperation with third countries.
Erasmus Mundus provides support to the development of human resources and the international cooperation capacity of Higher education institutions in third countries, by increasing mobility between the EU institutions and these countries.
The aims of the programme are realized through the development of wide range of Master Courses and Joint Doctorates for third countries grantholders, as well as scholarships for EU grantholders, who study at partner universities throughout the world.
It supports European high quality Masters Courses and Joint Doctorates, as well as enhances the visibility and attractiveness of European higher education in third countries.
